WHOOOOOO 1st week of SIP is over. It went by so fast omg. But anyway, Chan and I are loving it, yo. Haha. Been logging tapes for the past 2 days but it's all good. Everyone says logging's the worst thing ever but Chan loves it and I'm pretty much alright with it (can learn football stuff hurhur). OHHHHH! I got to edit a short bit of music the other day. Kenn Tay (my new idol lol), the sound engineer gave me a chance to try it out. Protools btw. Damn kanchiong know! In the end, he totally edited it all over again, made it tighter and all that. So...ya whatever I did was gone. Hahahaha.
And we're slowly starting to know people better so that's really awesome. Like yesterday, Mervyn/Mervin brought us for lunch at Bestway Building. OMG bakchormee please. Haha. And then today in the editing suite, while we were watching Mervyn/Mervin compile a dumb reel (or something like that), Victor was there too and we had a pretty nice chat with him. EVERYONE'S A JOKER CAN. Haha. Seriously. Oh oh, we might get to stay late next week! YAY! Finally they won't chase us out of the office. Hurhur. We're weird like that. But we kinda got a taste of staying late today cos of some mess-up. -.- ANDDDDDDD my colleagues are, well, let's just say they use very, 'flowery' language. Eg: KNNBCCB! WHAT THE F*** IS THAT?! So yea...Must.Resist. Haha. NOT!
Anyway, my mother happily popped into my room while I was blogging and obviously I couldn't hear her cos my earphones are on. HATE IT AH. I hate to have them invading my privacy. Not sure why, but ya. I just don't like opening up to them all the time. Cos well, most of the time I feel they don't listen. Esp my Dad, who will conviniently cut me off. Annoying.
Ok yes soooooooo, 1st week's over. I is very sleepy. Mon & Tues with the golf dept! WHOO!

Everyone blogged about their first day of work, except well, Chan and I. I'll blog about it now! Haha.
First, Temasek Towers is circular. And has many lifts. And Chan and I walked around the 30th floor like goondus before we got to WSG. Hurhur. ANYWAY the office is huge! And so prettyyyyy. The pantry is like, ohzmygawdz. And there's a pool table. Niehah. We only found that out today though. Hahaha. Ok so apart from that, our supervisor (Victor) is damn strict-looking but omg he's joker. And we were under this guy (Vince) who is ONE HELLUVA JOKER. Promise. Then there are the others, whom we didn't really speak to yesterday.
Basically what we did yesterday, we watched 3 videos that WSG produces WEEKLY, then we went for a tour around the TV dept and thennnnnnnnn had lunch and then it was logging time! Matches from the Asian Champions League. Football. I learnt new stuff from Channy Chan. =D Still got A LOT more to learn. Haha. But ya after all that, we knocked off at 6. LOVE IT.
Today was more hip pls. Each day seems to be getting better. Haha. I was sent to help out at the golf side. More logging (mind you it's diff from the football side) and going in to the editing suites to do reviews and watching how the VOs are done. Teehee. Sound engineer and editors. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. My eyes lit up when I was asked to follow Michael, Fhandi (sp?) and Adeline to the rooms. Wheee! Was supposed to stay til 9ish to help transcribe but then they let me off at 6(ish). I WANTED TO STAY DAMMIT. Oh well, there's always next week. =D
Now's the part where I have to shut up because I'm typing too much. BUT YAY WORK IS FUN I <3 IT MANY MANY. AND OUR ATTIRE IS CASUALLLLLLLL. HAHAHAHA. AND CHAN IS DAMN FUNNY.
